Yes, we can live without made in China.
I don't know if I am the only one out there that is tired of supporting other countries and having a hard time finding American made products. I am trying to teach my children to be patriotic and support their country and be proud to be Americans. I have been searching the web to find companies that offer Made in the USA products. I have been scouring Walmart, hard pressed to find many American products and find it frustrating and upsetting that there is more China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bagladesh,…

I read Howard C.'s post about needing a Not Made in China Christmas Guide, and I think it's a brilliant idea. In fact, it occurs to me that there are a whole bunch of potential guides waiting to be written: Christmas Not Made in China, Kids' Birthday Parties Not Made in China, Buying Computers Not Made in China, Shoes Not Made in China, etc. I'm a bit of a web newbie, but if people would be willing to give writing some a try, I would love to put them on my website (www.notmadeinchinalife.com),…

I went to Target store this evening and found some Christmas light sets that are made in Philippine.
Package: Iridescent Faceted 70 Pearl Light Set (Clear / C)
Distributed by Target Corporation
Here are some pictures I took using my cell phone. By the way, I noticed that some shoppers were getting LED lights, but they are all made in China (e.g. Phillips brand).

I am so deeply disturbed by all the recent recalls of Chinese manufactured toys!
I've already sent out emails to all our relatives asking that they choose gifts carefully this year and not give our children toys made in China. I have referred them all to my blog w/ links to non-Chinese manufactured toys.

earlier this year I saw the pictures of how china was handling the threat of dogs and rabies and my heart broke. seeing those images of dogs beat and slaughtered in the streets and then tossed into a dumptruck was overwhelming - yup - i am a dog lover, rescued two. I vowed then and there not to buy anything made in china... then it was the tainted pet food, then the lead toys, now the toys with drugs... all these things encouraged my original decision. It is not easy... i am still searching for…

In our ongoing efforts to combat toxic toys and to level the playing field in the manufacturing sector, we have embarked on a series of informative videos that will draw attention to the consumers. http://www.blip.tv/file/459214/
While our videos may seem extreme, we are proud to say that at Modesto Gamers, we do not discriminate nor tolerate discrimination! However, we feel that our manufacturing sector, th…

Hi! This is very cool. We've been saying since we started living NMiC in Feb '06 that we shouls start a website. At the time, there was precious little on the Net - everything we found was about Tibet (which is a good cause), but nothing about how to live NMIC, and about all the million other reasons to go NMIC. This week we finally put up a skeleton of a website (www.notmadeinchinalife.com), and are working on useful content (not much there yet), but it's exciting to find other people who have…

I was invited here by Mommy Zabs after I discovered her site www.notchinamade.net. I hope to be here off and on as I have my hands full with my almost 2 yr old daughter!
Prompted by the Mattel recalls, I decided to join in this issue and hope to learn all I can from you all. In turn, I wish to educate others as it seems this is virtually unheard of by many people. (Well, everyone I have spoken with anyway)
Not sure if everyone already knows of this site, but it is one source I…

. The Nytimes summarizes Clinton's career with Walmart. The gist of the story, they needed a women because Walmart was a "boys club" so they got Hilary. How prole of Hilary! Would anyone vote an ex Walmart employee for president? I wouldn't just because of that connection, its plain creepy.
I may be very selective over my presidential candidates…

Absolutely no product that comes from China is any good. It has no quality, does not last and is a waste of money. While we were not paying attention, our retailers have filled their stores with this junk. I read a post where someone is blaming WalMart but just look around in your local mall of high end stores and you will see that virtually everything comes from China or at least some other Asian country with a few things coming from Central or South America. Our politicians have sold this coun…
Answer: Anyone that purchases any item that is made in China.
This country will one day blackmail the USA for rejecting their products! Whether it is tumbling our stock market or the threat of bombing us; this country is bad.
Why did our country sell out "we the people"? Because, there are those weak politicians that want the money and these people don't care about you and your family. These are the people today that are raising millions in their campaign re-election and…

Hi guys. Some of you probably have seen my website on
boycotting china, I was invited here by Flur. Thanks!
I've worked pretty hard on the site over the last few years and gotten
up to #1 on Google for "Boycott China". I had been sending out
free bumper stickers but it got to the point that I couldn't afford it
anymore. Maybe I can start again someday. I get about 200
hits every day on the site and it's been spiking more recently.
I'd like for all of you to help me tag prod…

Howard was so great to invite me to see this wondeful site! I'm stoked about meeting other's who have like-minded views regarding China. I launched a new site a couple of days ago called www.notchinamade.net. I would love to see you there. I am also having a contest!
The prize is a $50 gift card to American Apparel.
I really do look forward to meeting you all. My time online is always limited because I have a 3 year old and 1 year old a…

Its easy to find an American company to invest in. Chances are, that American company has packed its company's equipment shipped it off to China and has been ringing in the profits like crazy. Sadly this is all too common. As investors we need to invest in American company's that support the American working class not the Chinese slave like labor system. So please double check your stocks before Mondays opening call. I know I will be doing so.

I like the convenience and the taste of the frozen unagi (smoked freshwater eel). I usually get them from Japanese supermarket. Chinese-made unagi is usually half of the price comparing with Japanese-made unagi. Posted by Pluto Jr. on August 5th, 2007 at 10:46am — No Comments
I have purchased gluten for many years for home bread-making. I have contacted the company many times recently (I'm actually bugging them) to ask where they get their gluten.
So far, no answers. I'm really getting the brushoff.
Does anyone have any info about food-grade gluten made for baking?
